About the Role

The Cellforce Group GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost & Value Management Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting internal stakeholders during the procurement and product development process, contributing to the advancement of our global purchasing and business development strategy.

In this position, you will report directly to the Cellforce Group GmbH leadership and provide strategic, tactical, and operational guidance to our global procurement and sales team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining standardized cost analysis systems, tools, and instruments for the procurement of raw materials, services, and equipment required for global battery cell production.
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities by introducing new production concepts into the supply chain and sourcing raw materials from new suppliers.
  • Realizing cost savings for externally sourced components based on detailed process simulations and cost calculations.
  • Providing advice on make-or-buy decisions for multiple product groups.
  • Active support in procurement negotiations for raw material purchases.
  • Global responsibility for cost reduction programs for suppliers and process cost optimization.
  • Establishing, developing, and training the Cost-Engineering team and promoting business development capabilities for future growth.
  • Providing strategic inputs and impulses for the establishment of new business areas and supporting sales teams in tenders, price negotiations with customers, and sales forecasts.
  • Active participation in procurement negotiations with high investment volumes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • More than 3 years of experience at an expert level in the finance or economics field, particularly in cost calculation.
  • A comprehensive and good understanding of the entire business environment from the perspectives of procurement, technology, quality, and production, as well as sales.
  • Outstanding leadership qualities with the ability to communicate at all levels in a functionally overlapping, matrix-oriented, multicultural organization.
  • Outstanding quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A high degree of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Travel readiness and project-related travel required.
