Operations Manager

As an Area Manager with Amazon TA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fulfillment centers. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily activities of your team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of operations professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources and tools needed to succeed.
- Process Improvement: Analyze and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality of service.
- Safety and Wellbeing: Create and maintain a culture of safety and wellbeing, ensuring that all team members feel valued and supported.
- Project Management: Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity, and increase quality of service for customers.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze shift performance against relevant business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence.
As an Area Manager, you will work on a shift pattern at one of our fulfillment centers, ensuring that it runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing, upholding quality and shift performance standards. You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation.
About the TeamAmazon TA couldn't deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you will be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, you will help Amazon's transport run at maximum efficiency.
Requirements- Education: A degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: Relevant experience in people management, communication with stakeholders, and data analysis.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language, experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques, and proficiency in MS Office suite.
