Key Responsibilities

ASN is in search of an Art Curatorial Assistant:

  • Possessing a PhD, and
  • Demonstrating extensive IT skills, and
  • Having experience in both art and science domains.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing, organizing, and curating various projects and events,
  • Developing and executing communication and public relations strategies,
  • Conducting research and applying for funding and sponsorship opportunities,
  • Managing stakeholder relationships,
  • Overseeing project teams and budgets,
  • Coordinating project timelines and deadlines,
  • Addressing project conflicts and risks,
  • Ensuring timely project deliverables.
Qualifications

Desired Profile:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (native English speaker preferred),
  • Proficient in a wide range of IT skills (including WordPress, web, and graphic design),
  • Formal education in curation with a minimum of one year of relevant experience,
  • Management training with demonstrable experience (at least two years in art/science collaboration),
  • Strong background in fundraising for cultural initiatives,
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management capabilities,
  • Effective teamwork skills, particularly in collaboration with artists and scientists,
  • High levels of commitment and motivation.

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Recognized curatorial qualifications (BA and/or MA, or equivalent),
  • Proven results in fundraising and sponsorship,
  • IT, public relations, and/or communication expertise,
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience,
  • Extensive experience in the intersection of Art & Science is highly advantageous,
  • Fluency in English and German (native English speakers preferred),
  • Proficiency in Polish and/or French is a plus,
  • A deep commitment to ASN's mission and objectives,
  • A strong desire to bridge the worlds of art and science.
