Project Engineer in the Paper Industry

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Valmet GmbH in Darmstadt. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete planning and calculation of projects, including the preparation of quotations, planning and implementation of projects for our customers, creation and monitoring of time and project plans, and ensuring that projects run smoothly in time, budget, and quality with on-site project monitoring and installation supervision if required.

Requirements
  • Completed technical engineering studies or technician/master craftsman training with several years of experience or comparable, preferably specializing in paper production or mechanical engineering
  • Experience in similar positions, preferably product and industry knowledge
  • Ability to make decisions and flexibility in thinking and acting
  • Fluent German and very good English language skills, a strong team spirit, and the ability to deliver high-quality results even under pressure
  • Confidence in dealing with IT such as MS Office, Project, etc.
  • Class B driving license and willingness to travel
