Project Engineer in the Paper Industry

At Valmet GmbH, we are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Darmstadt. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the complete planning and calculation of projects, including the preparation of quotations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement projects for our customers, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, including time and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct on-site project monitoring and installation supervision as required.
  • Follow up on project completion to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Completed technical engineering studies or technician/master craftsman training with several years of experience in paper production or mechanical engineering.
  • Proven experience in similar positions, preferably with product and industry knowledge.
  • Ability to make decisions, think creatively, and act flexibly.
  • Fluent German and excellent English language skills, strong team spirit, and ability to deliver high-quality results under pressure.
  • Confidence in using IT tools such as MS Office and Project.
  • Class B driving license and willingness to travel.
