Electrical Systems Design Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at nVent. As an Electrical Engineer for Power Distribution Panel Design, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative electrical solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development
    • Design power and control solutions that meet customer specifications and project requirements.
    • Develop and implement technical bid analysis for bought-out equipment.
    • Check and approve vendor design documents to ensure they meet project requirements and nVent standards.
  • Project Management
    • Responsible for providing in-house and/or on-site control/monitoring components.
    • Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical distribution panels at client sites.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Support the development and modification of new/existing engineering software and documents.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Completed training as a technician/master craftsman/engineer in electrical engineering.
    • 3-5 years' experience in electrical power distribution panels in the industrial sector.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • German spoken and written, good knowledge of English.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook.
    • Class B driving license (occasional travel).
