Electrical Engineer for Power Distribution Panel Design

About the Role
nVent is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team as an Electrical Engineer for Power Distribution Panel Design. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical power distribution panels for our industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement electrical power distribution panel designs that meet customer specifications and internal engineering standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery
- Conduct technical bid analysis and lead discussions with vendors to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Review and approve vendor design documents to ensure they meet project requirements and nVent standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients on electrical power distribution panel design and implementation
- Participate in testing and commissioning of electrical power distribution panels to ensure they meet project requirements
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical power distribution panel design and development
- Completed training as a technician, master craftsman, or engineer in electrical engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Class B driving license (occasional travel)
