About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team at LSE Space GmbH. As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of the ground segment and monitoring and control system for an exciting new European flagship mission at GSOC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of complex ground segment architecture and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with engineering, system integrators, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project development
  • Participate in meetings and reviews with various high-profile stakeholders
  • Develop a system model that covers all aspects of the ground segment and design deliverables
Requirements
  • University degree in a relevant discipline
  • Proven experience in system engineering and space system project management throughout the complete life cycle (Phase 0 to E)
  • Experience in design, development, and operation of complex ground infrastructure
  • Experience in writing technical documentation, such as Design Documents, Interface Documents, Test Reports, Maintenance Plans, and Risk Catalogues
  • Familiarity with ECSS standards
  • Able to work in an interdisciplinary team
  • Self-starter, able to work independently with a minimum of supervision and have a systematic approach to work
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
