About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Professional to join our team at Planet A Foods GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sourcing strategy to ensure quality and cost control in the production of our innovative, cocoa-free chocolate products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic procurement plan to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize costs
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure pricing advantages and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Manage supplier relationships and oversee the procurement process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify new ingredients and assess competitor strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in procurement, preferably in the food or beverage industry
  • Strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, contract negotiation, and risk management
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, quality assurance standards, and familiarity with food safety regulations and sustainability practices
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and identify innovation opportunities
