At KWS SAAT SE, we're seeking a visionary leader to drive the digital enrichment of our seeds, enhancing customer access, retention, and value creation. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategy for digital seed enrichment, aligning with evolving farmer needs.
  • Connect our seeds with relevant digital products and go-to-market via MyKWS.
  • Contribute to value creation by enhancing products with value-added services.
  • Drive commercial impacts of digital farming solutions.
  • Initiate, guide, and improve relevant digital farming solutions across KWS Group.
  • Head the Digital Farming Solutions team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Steer the cross-functional ecosystem driving digital farming solutions.
  • Collaborate with external partners, integrating relevant concepts and solutions.
  • Ensure digital farming solutions' needs are reflected in R&D and Agroservice data collection.
  • Engage and manage stakeholders, focusing on the Commercial Team of KWS.
  • Orchestrate the rollout of concepts and tools across business units, ensuring a consistent customer experience.
  • Establish economies of scale by standardizing concepts, technical solutions, and data sources.

Requirements:

  • Hold an academic degree (Master, PhD) in agronomy, agricultural machinery, agricultural technology, or digitalization of agriculture.
  • Several years of leadership experience in digital farming and agronomy.
  • Proven track record of navigating complex organizational challenges.
  • Skilled in building complex digital solutions and ecosystems using cross-functional data structures.
  • Strong strategic and conceptual skills to shape KWS's digital enrichment journey.
  • Excellent communication and networking abilities to engage stakeholders.
  • Passion for emerging technologies and a genuine interest in digital solutions.
  • Fluent in English (or other European languages).
