Product Cost Analyst

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Cost Analyst (Mechanical) to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Design to Cost team, you will play a critical role in reducing the carbon footprint of our products and improving their environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost optimization strategies to reduce technical and industrial costs while improving energy consumption.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide cost perspectives to project management and ensure the consistency of assumptions.
- Calculate the technical cost of products and systems, and generate and formalize saving opportunities.
- Support design changes along the development cycle and contribute to reaching project cost targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Industrial processes basic knowledge.
- Fluent in English, optionally skills in German.
- Good entrepreneurship and persistence.
- Very good agility and collaborative spirit.
- Dynamic, proactive, and autonomous.
