Airfreight Process Transformation Specialist

At Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, we are seeking a highly skilled Airfreight Process Transformation Specialist to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our Business Process Management Airfreight team, you will be responsible for the global Airfreight processes of our company, including the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes in terms of standardization, sustainability, automation, and digitalization.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the global forwarding industry, with operational experience in Airfreight. You will also have experience in training business processes, system use, and organizational changes. Additionally, proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required, as well as flexibility towards traveling and longer stays abroad (40% - 60%).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the rollout of the new Transport Management System, driving business process transformation along with it, including analysis, change management, set-up, training, etc.
  • Planning, moderation, and execution of country and regional workshops and trainings with all levels of employees, predominantly on site across Europe
  • Supporting country BPM and key users on a day-to-day basis in airfreight operational, system, and process-related matters
  • Creation of training material and documentation
  • Creation of SOPs and work instructions

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Completed logistics apprenticeship and/or completed University degree in Logistics or a comparable qualification
  • Solid understanding of the global forwarding industry with on-hand operational experience, especially in Airfreight
  • Experience in the field of training business processes, system use, and organizational changes
  • Experience with the implementation of a TMS is a plus
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to effectively deal with different cultures, departments, and hierarchical levels
  • Empathy skills: ability to place yourself in the shoes of the audience
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Flexibility towards traveling and longer stays abroad (40% - 60%)
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
  • Analytical thinking, strong self-confidence, and problem-solving skills
