Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Arcadis. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing geotechnical investigations and projects for large-scale energy transition projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute geotechnical investigations for large-scale energy transition projects, including documentation and evaluation of investigation results
• Develop and implement field and laboratory testing programs
• Monitor and control subcontractors
• Prepare and submit geotechnical investigation reports
• Take on technical supervision of construction projects

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Geosciences, with a focus on Geotechnics
• Proven experience in the above-mentioned activities in a consulting company
• Fluent German language skills in writing and speaking
• Willingness to travel throughout Germany for project-related work
• Optional: Additional training (e.g. SiGeKo)
• Flexibility and structured work approach
• Economic thinking and cost awareness
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Good English language skills
