Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance professional to join our team at METRO AG. As an Expert Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance Support: Provide expert support to local and corporate QA teams, serving as the primary point of contact for QA matters in your designated area.
  • Implementation and Training: Assist in the implementation of new QA requirements, providing technical manuals, educational materials, and training to ensure seamless adoption.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Maintain a global system to ensure compliance with global QA standards across METRO/MAKRO countries and external Logistic Service Providers.
  • Warehouse Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of warehouses in various countries to ensure adherence to QA standards.
  • Incident and Crisis Management: Oversee incident and crisis cases for FSD companies, providing technical assessments and guidance to enhance QA structures and efficiency.
  • Onboarding and Community Building: Welcome and onboard FSD Quality Managers across the Metro Network, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources and a touchpoint with our QA community.
  • Continuous Improvement: Utilize KPIs to drive continuous improvement and ensure the highest standards of quality.
  • GQA Approval: Support FSD companies in obtaining GQA approval for our Own Brand meat production.
Requirements
  • Expertise and Passion: Bring robust expertise and a genuine passion for Quality Assurance (QA) and the world of Food Wholesale.
  • Experience and Track Record: Possess a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in QA operations, with experience in HACCP and PRP, and a proven track record in implementing a Quality Management System.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Be a great communicator, able to collaborate with people from different backgrounds and build rapport for QA topics.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Knowledge: Possess a comprehensive understanding of QA requirements in the Multichannel Food World, with knowledge of supply chains, productions, and Quality and safety standards.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is a must, with other European languages a plus.
