Key Responsibilities:

As an HR Payroll Specialist at Cross Border Talents, you will oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments for employees across Germany. Your expertise in German labor law and payroll regulations will be crucial in maintaining compliance with local requirements.

Key tasks include:

  • Administering payroll for all employees, including calculations for wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions.
  • Managing updates related to new hires, contract amendments, and terminations, ensuring all changes are correctly recorded in the payroll system.
  • Providing specialized guidance to employees and management on tax and social security contributions, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations.
  • Professionally managing inquiries from government bodies and tax authorities, responding efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Generating detailed reports and conducting payroll-related analysis to support HR and financial decision-making within the company.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Fluent German language skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of German labor law, tax codes, and social security regulations.
  • Experience with payroll software, preferably SAP HR.
  • A thorough and organized approach to ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll processing.
  • Effective communication skills to clearly explain payroll processes and requirements to both employees and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
