About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager to join our Housing Transformation Programme at Anchor, England's largest not-for-profit provider of care and housing for older people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the successful delivery of key projects aimed at improving resident experiences, modernising operations, and enhancing housing outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of project managers, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with Anchor's goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive transformation across our housing services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior leadership, external partners, and residents, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across multiple projects, ensuring solutions are adaptable and resilient.
Requirements
  • Extensive project management experience, preferably within the housing, public sector, or related industries.
  • Strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to align project delivery with Anchor's goals.
  • Experience in managing, mentoring, and developing project teams, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills, with expertise in implementing large-scale change initiatives.
  • Proficiency in risk management, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with regulations, policies, and best practices within the housing or public sector.
  • Strong problem-solving and innovation skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and drive creative solutions.
