Senior Quality Manager for Supplier Partnerships

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Manager for Supplier Partnerships to join our team at Siemens Mobility GmbH. As a key member of our supplier quality management team, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development and implementation of supplier quality management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a sustainable supplier base, ensuring high-quality supply for global projects and locations.
- Conduct risk evaluations, assessments, and audits as part of supplier qualification.
- Ensure compliance with international rail industry standards (IRIS) and existing supplier requirements.
- Collaborate with the engineering department and suppliers to develop and improve production processes and product quality.
- Lead and develop the skills and competencies of your team members.
Requirements
- Technical master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering).
- Significant experience in supply chain management, quality management, or manufacturing, preferably in the rail industry.
- Completed training as an auditor, ideally in accordance with VDA6.3.
- Knowledge of FMEA, 8Ds, and other quality management methods.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with experience working in international teams.
- Fluency in German and English, with willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 40%).
