About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Lead for Primary Technology to join our team at Amprion GmbH.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume overall responsibility for the technical leadership of our projects, particularly high-voltage switchgear projects, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, specifications, and technical documentation, including performance schedules and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, including internal stakeholders and external contractors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to project completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to identify project requirements and develop project plans.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, including the implementation of quality control and assurance processes.
  • Manage project budgets, costs, and resources, including the identification of potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, preferably with prior technical training or certification.
  • Proven experience in the design, construction, and operation of high-voltage switchgear systems, with a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in relevant IT applications, including MS Office and SAP, as well as project management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for extended periods within the Amprion network area.
