About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and assertive Financial Business Partner to join our team at ATS Automation. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in shaping and defining financial processes while supporting our Director of Automation and Director of Di&So.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Review
    • Proactively support Directors in driving financial and operational performance
    • Determine key performance indicators on division and department levels
    • Provide variance analysis on division level
    • Forecast core value drivers (revenues, gross profit/margin, bookings/incoming orders)
    • Prepare business review documents and analyses
    • Calculate hourly rates for assigned division
    • Support Directors during budgeting process
  • Project Review
    • Monitor and report project KPIs
    • Hold monthly project reviews to ensure projects meet expectations
    • Prepare project status reports
    • Identify risks and define mitigation strategies in alignment with project manager
  • Bid Approval
    • Review customer bids to ensure correct hourly rates are used and target margin is met
    • Steer bid approval process from financial perspective
  • Special Tasks
    • Perform ad-hoc analysis upon request
    • Enhance controlling processes, tools, and documentation
    • Support S4/HANA implementation projects
    • Support Corporate Mergers and M&A projects
    Requirements
    • Fluent in English and German
    • University degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
    • At least 4 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in project controlling
    • High data affinity and experience in data analysis, preferably with relational databases
    • Strong analytical approach and ability to take initiative and complete multiple tasks under tight deadlines
    • Customer-focused mindset and willingness to go the extra mile
    • Open to new challenges and eager to learn new methods and tools
