We are currently seeking a dedicated professional for the position of Associate, Trustee & Depository Controller within our Trustee & Depository Germany division.
In this role, you will contribute significantly in the following areas:
- Implementing regulatory controls for payments in Mutual Funds and Special Funds.
- Overseeing regulatory compliance and execution of subscriptions and redemptions.
- Conducting investment compliance regulatory assessments.
- Calculating and delivering Trustee & Depository fees.
- Managing fund event processing.
- Performing reconciliation tasks between Transfer Agent Luxembourg and Custodian Frankfurt.
- Facilitating client communication and transaction oversight.
- Collaborating with various BNY Mellon departments, both locally and internationally.
- Actively analyzing processes and working with stakeholders to enhance efficiency.
- Monitoring risks and minimizing potential losses and exposures.
- Engaging in special projects as needed.
To excel in this position, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Educational background in banking or business, preferably with a focus on Fund Business in Germany.
- Demonstrated proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A self-motivated and accountable individual capable of completing assigned tasks independently.
- A strong desire to gain knowledge of relevant products and business processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- An open-minded approach to understanding Fund Business processes and their impact on clients and other departments.
- A productivity-focused mentality with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities and expand the team.
- Fluency in both German and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
