**Job Title:** Creative Director
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Director to lead the artistic vision of our projects at Devoted Studios. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing game ideas, crafting a compelling vision, and creating engaging presentations. You will also interact directly with clients, presenting your concepts and ensuring their satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Production: Develop game ideas, create detailed documentation, and craft engaging presentations.
- Client Interaction: Present your concepts to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and understanding of the project's goals.
- Team Leadership: Oversee the overall creative direction, ensuring that visual and narrative elements are cohesive and aligned with the project's goals.
- Design Expertise: Provide game-design expertise, working with the team to clearly define all aspects of the game that impact the end-user.
- Communication: Communicate designs with clear and concise documentation, delivering clear and concise client-ready product specs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
- Project Management: Direct devs/art teams to create quality gameplay features for the client's IP, develop UX wireframes for products using creative applications, and research and development into cross-platform development.
- Strategic Partnerships: Work with internal and external strategic partners to create products using the most current industry best practices.
- Liaison: Serve as a liaison between the marketing and creative team and between the BDs and individual clients.
- Game Ideation: Create and pitch game ideals to the clients.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 6+ years of game design experience.
- Skills: Strong familiarity with successful game-development processes and pipelines, experience with development tools (Jira and Confluence/Excel, etc.), and experience working with Unity or Unreal engines.
- Leadership: Strong ability to design and implement game systems, natural ability for problem solving without outside direction, and well-organized with the ability to plan tasks for engineers and artists.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in mobile, web, PC, consoles, and creating in-game economy and monetization.
- Market Analysis: Provide deep market analysis and data analysis of existing projects.
- Team Leading: Experience in team leading and collaboration with OSMs and BD on pre-production and project requirements.
