Robotics Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Software Engineer to join our team at Magazino GmbH. As a key member of our robotics department, you will be responsible for contributing to the enhancement of our system-wide robot software stack, creating innovative behaviors for our robots, and taking part in the upkeep of our internal codebase.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain high-quality software for our robots, ensuring seamless integration with our system-wide software stack.
- Design and implement complex behaviors for our robots, leveraging our Behavior Tree formalism.
- Collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize software development tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, serving as a key resource for robotics-related inquiries.
- PhD or M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering and database experience.
- Proficiency in Python and ROS on Linux platforms.
- A positive mindset, actively seeking responsibility, and taking initiative to move projects forward.
- Nice to have: Proficiency in developing complex robots and overseeing robotic systems, skilled in designing and executing behavior trees, and proficiency in logic programming.
- Fluent English is required, good knowledge of German preferred.
