At Magazino, we are seeking a skilled Robotics Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics, computer science, or mechatronics, with a bachelor's or master's degree.

  • As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up and configuring our robot system in new environments, working closely with developers and project managers.
  • You will also design and execute projects within small teams, integrating our system with existing infrastructure.
  • With a deep understanding of our system components, you will identify and resolve complex robotics challenges in each project.
  • Additionally, you will tackle hardware failures in collaboration with our hardware and service teams.
  • Through statistical evaluations, you will uncover performance bottlenecks and plan improvements to boost customer satisfaction.
  • You will document all remaining problems and accompany their resolution.
  • With a high willingness to travel, you will spend up to 80% of your time at our customers in Germany and other European countries.

About You

  • You have a strong educational background in robotics, computer science, or mechatronics.
  • You hold a class B driver's license valid within Germany.
  • You have at least 2 successfully completed projects with mobile robots, preferably using ROS.
  • With at least 2 years of experience in software development, ideally in the field of robotics and/or embedded software, you are well-equipped to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • You are proficient in Python and have some knowledge in C++.
  • You have a high willingness to travel, both nationally and internationally.
  • You are business fluent in English and have basic knowledge of German.
  • You have a good basic understanding of mechanics, electronic systems, networks, IT, and Linux administration.
  • You are familiar with GIT and have a hands-on mentality in tackling complex problems.
  • You are sociable towards colleagues and customers.
