About the Role

Eurex Clearing AG is seeking a highly skilled Equity Risk Officer to join our team. As a key member of our risk management function, you will be responsible for operating risk management systems, monitoring and managing member risk situations, and providing support to clients on risk management matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate risk management systems for listed products
  • Manage Eurex Clearing's risk positions on a day-to-day basis
  • Provide support to members as first point of contact for client requests
  • Design, develop, and test risk management systems and methods
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic risk projects
  • Communicate risk matters to Senior Management, IT departments, and regulatory bodies
Requirements
  • Economics, finance, mathematics, physics, financial engineering, or computer science degree
  • Knowledge of financial markets and products, as well as clearing activities of Eurex Clearing AG
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in risk management
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Efficient team player with high degree of results orientation and organizational self-reliance
  • Database and SQL skills an asset
  • Commitment to shift work and availability on public holidays
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional German language skills an asset
