Position Overview:

We are seeking a Head of Human Resources Operations (m/f/d) for KION GROUP AG, responsible for leadership and global process management of the HR Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will oversee the operational HR management for KION GROUP AG, which includes a significant proportion of executive leadership within the corporate headquarters.
  • Additionally, you will serve in a key account management role, acting as the international point of contact for HR management inquiries from top executives in the CEO, CFO, and CPSO areas. This includes supporting change processes and identifying and developing potential successors.
  • For the aforementioned central functions, you will manage global talent, performance, and compensation processes in coordination with HR leaders from international business units.
  • You will collaborate closely and trustfully on a global level with colleagues from other operational and corporate HR divisions, as well as with employee representatives.
  • You will participate in local and global strategic HR initiatives and projects, implementing the outcomes within your area of responsibility.
  • With your team of HR business partners and professionals, you will ensure a high-performing, service-oriented, and sustainable HR function aligned with KION's HR strategy.
  • You will actively enhance operational HR processes to improve service levels and efficiency, taking into account technological advancements.

Qualifications:

  • You possess an academic background and extensive experience in operational HR management, along with leadership experience in an international, preferably industrial corporate environment, ideally within matrix structures.
  • You are a value-driven individual with a team-building, motivating leadership style and demonstrated expertise in advancing operational HR management processes.
  • You exhibit creativity, commitment, and a willingness to collaborate, along with strong communication and intercultural skills, ideally gained through international experience. You thrive in the role of a sparring partner, combining innovative, customer-oriented consulting with adherence to HR standards while engaging with top executives.
  • You communicate fluently in both German and English, both verbally and in writing, and are proficient in using HR information systems (existing knowledge of Workday would be advantageous).
