Driver Monitoring System Developer

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Attention Assist system, a cutting-edge technology that monitors driver fatigue and distraction. Your primary focus will be on the conception and further development of driver monitoring in the context of future requirements regarding distraction and fatigue.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of test series of the driver monitoring system, including driving simulator tests.
- Help maintain system engineering artifacts such as system specifications and test specifications.
- Participate in the further development of the Matlab toolchain and develop automated data evaluations.
- Validate video measurement data by evaluating driver fatigue, microsleep events, and distraction detections.
- Be involved in the management, maintenance, and updating of our project vehicles, the measurement technology they contain, and the measurement data recorded.
- Currently studying computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable course of study.
- Good command of written and spoken German and English.
- Confident in using MS Office.
- Committed and enjoy working independently, but also as part of a team.
- Quick grasp, analytical mindset, and strategic way of working.
- Programming skills and/or experience in Matlab are an advantage.
