Shift Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader (m/w/d) for our production team at START NRW GmbH. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and leading a team of production staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate production activities to meet quality and productivity targets
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve their full potential
- Monitor and control production costs, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance
- Implement and maintain Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve processes
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Identify and address potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions
- Develop and manage production schedules, including resource allocation and capacity planning
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
Requirements:
- Completed technical vocational training or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar production leadership role
- Fluency in German, both written and spoken
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with production planning and control systems
