About the Role
The Voith Group is a global technology company with a broad portfolio of systems, products, services, and digital applications. As a Master Scheduler - Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules by integrating inputs from all functions, units, and third parties contributing to the project.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify project risks and opportunities, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Communicate schedule status to project managers, function responsible, suppliers, and third parties.
- Conduct schedule analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities, and provide look-ahead, backlog, and future late reporting with prioritizations.
- Ensure contractually required customer reporting is completed, and communicate directly with customers on scheduling matters.
- Prepare critical path analyses and work with multiple critical and near-critical paths.
- Generate 'what-if' scenarios to optimize execution, and collaborate with project teams to evaluate feasibility.
- Align with the cost-controlling function to ensure clear alignment between cost and schedule for accurate project execution.
- Organize and lead timely Planning Reviews with the project team to address schedule issues and define/validate mitigation plans.
- Prepare delay analyses to support the creation of EOT claims.
Your Profile
- Degree in engineering or a comparable field, with several years of professional experience in planning and/or controlling.
- At least 7 years of experience in project planning as part of a project team.
- Proficient in applying planning control principles (WBS, critical path, progress, and OTD).
- Experience with planning tools such as MS Project and/or Primavera, including interfaces with cost control and workload management.
- Fluent in Portuguese, with proficiency in this language being essential for communicating with clients and partners.
- Proactive communication and problem-solving attitude, strong team spirit, critical analysis of available data, rigor, and transparency, and the ability to contribute to decision-making processes.
