As a key member of our Product & Tech team, you will oversee the Developer Platform Team and ensure the health of the team. Your mission is to enable software delivery teams to move faster, enhance reliability, security, and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

* Supporting the personal development and well-being of your team members
* Representing and advocating for the Developer Platform team at leadership level
* Closely liaising with the Technical Product Manager to build products that solve real user problems and have a measurable impact on the organization
* Leading the development of a platform that abstracts away unnecessary complexity of infrastructure, observability, and security, all while ensuring developers still understand the implications of their work
* Continuously improving engineering processes, with a focus on automation, quality, and scalability
* Tirelessly scrutinizing and challenging current and target architectures, to arrive at the leanest, yet adequate software & infrastructure architecture for Developer Platform use cases
* Helping the team to stay focused on delivering high-impact solutions
* Developing and communicating a strategic vision for the Developer Platform

Success indicators:

* High team satisfaction scores and retention rates, along with reduced perceived stress
* Improvement in team productivity metrics, such as velocity and cycle time, and consistent achievement of OKRs
* Reduced communication bottlenecks and improved cross-team collaboration
* Successful mentoring and career development of team members
* Improved simplicity, reliability, scalability, and quality of platform offerings
