As a Regional Technical Manager Monogastric at Evonik, you will provide technical sales support for products and services within our Specialty Nutrition Monogastric portfolio for the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers for the application of animal nutritional & health additives and technical services (development and application)
  • Support sales team for technical customer activities (account plans) to achieve sales budget in the region
  • Deliver solutions to identified customer needs, initiate and lead customer value-added projects for products/or beyond the products
  • Train team members on the product's technical aspects and services
  • Conduct customer trials and manage regional trials & budget in coordination with Business Managers
  • Identify value propositions of current products in collaboration with Global Technical Experts
  • Contribute to portfolio development projects in coordination with Global Strategic Marketing
  • Provide competitor landscape in coordination with Regional Strategic Marketing Manager
  • Build and maintain a network of key opinion leaders in the regional scientific community
  • Coordinate and participate in trade shows, webinars, conferences, and customer seminars
  • Represent Evonik at industry scientific platforms, congresses, etc., and aid in the preparation of technical information for industry engagement

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Biology, animal sciences, veterinary, or other relevant areas, PhD is preferable
  • Experience in monogastric animal health area will be highly advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years field work-experience and a strong network in the monogastric animal health area
  • Affinity to the dynamic world of sales and/or marketing
  • Affinity to our products and our customer's industries as well as a passion for giving our customers competent advice
  • Excellent communication-, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to move confidently in a versatile, open, and international organization
  • Ability to work independently with a sense of initiative
  • Proficient English language skills, written and spoken, German is a plus
