Lead Programmer for Aerodynamic Components Development

Sogeclair Aerospace is a key player in the aerospace industry, supporting significant customers (Airbus Group, Thales, Bombardier, Dassault) in the development and industrialization of their products.

We are seeking a highly qualified and innovative NCP Lead Programmer to join our team in Varel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machining Process Development: Define the machining process, from raw material selection to the process steps required to produce the finished part.
  • Numerical Control Programming: Develop the numerical control program and select the optimal tools for fabrication.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with the quality department and engineering department to identify critical processing steps and mitigate execution risks.
  • Process Monitoring: Support Performance Variance Analysis, performing checks after task execution and monitoring times and quality issues.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in a technical field and/or short degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a CAM programmer role in the same field.
  • Knowledge of technological and mechanical characteristics of materials, manufacturing processes for chip removal products, and common metal removing processes/techniques.
  • Numerical control programming of turning and milling machining, including expertise and experience in turning.
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5, Vericut, and G and M code programming.
  • Working knowledge of various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts used on various machines.
  • Fluent level in English and minimum B2 level in German.
