Globalization Delivery Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager/Program Manager to join our team at SAP Globalization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing delivery of our localization program for HCM, ensuring successful execution and adherence to corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the execution of SAP HCM programs, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Chief Product Officers, Agile Product Owners, and scrum teams to drive program objectives.
  • Establish strong relationships with central Line of Business contacts to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Facilitate shareholder meetings for roll-in, roll-out, and synchronization activities to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Assist line management in effectively managing development organization, particularly in cross-functional areas.
  • Ensure that deliveries adhere to guidelines and corporate standards of the overall program.
  • Participate in Program Coordination Meetings and provide support during program checkpoints to ensure program success.
  • Coordinate with Product teams to align their efforts with program objectives, utilizing existing structures and models.
  • Manage cross-program dependencies, service groups, and stakeholders to ensure effective program execution.
Requirements
  • Strong cross-functional project management and team collaboration skills.
  • Effective communication abilities at all organizational levels, from developers to high management.
  • Passion for engineering excellence and customer success.
  • Strong experience working with SAP HCM products.
  • Specific knowledge on update/upgrade policies and mechanisms for SAP HCM products.
  • Experience leading a program holding responsibility for continuous and timely delivery in Agile mode.
  • Technical background in ABAP development, Quality Processes, based on SAP Product Development Lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of tools supporting Development Lifecycle, like JIRA, Sirius, PPMS, ACRF, SCP, WIPS, ServiceNow, ECCN.
  • Actively participate in process improvement activities within and outside of the team.
