Boomerang is a pioneering startup located in Hamburg, transforming the online retail landscape with our reusable shipping packaging and a groundbreaking deposit system. Your Responsibilities- Design, develop, and enhance new shipping packaging while refining existing packaging strategies.
- Coordinate technical aspects of packaging concepts with partners and suppliers.
- Advance and expand quality management practices.
- Oversee product development for various packaging solutions.
- Manage project timelines and ensure timely development coordination.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and industry innovations.
- Work collaboratively with different departments and the founding team.
- Encourage creativity and drive innovation in packaging design.
- Degree in Packaging Technology, Business Engineering with a specialization in packaging, or a related field.
- Several years of experience within the packaging sector.
- Proficient in at least one CAD software relevant to packaging design.
- Familiarity with recycling processes, reusable packaging, packaging machinery, automation, testing, and quality assurance.
- Fluent in German with strong English communication skills.
- Located in or willing to relocate to the Hamburg area.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a startup setting.
- High energy, eagerness to learn, and ability to inspire others.
