About Dedalus Labor

We are a leading provider of innovative healthcare solutions, and we are looking for a talented Software Developer to join our team in Trier or remotely in Germany.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to design and implement state-of-the-art application platforms and tests for our ORBIS U framework. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Go, JavaEE, JBoss, Wildfly, Oracle, and SQL, as well as experience in development of enterprise applications with web technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based software with a focus on AWS
  • Ensure installability, portability, scalability, and servicability
  • Deliver reusable application and platform components
  • Define and design new products as well as incremental re-work of current products
  • Prepare and conduct user testing together with product managers
  • Perform design reviews to evaluate and iterate the designs
  • Work with both local and international product teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or information systems or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Strong knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Go, JavaEE, JBoss, Wildfly, Oracle, and SQL
  • Strong knowledge in testing methodologies and test automation
  • Practical experience in development of enterprise applications with web technologies
  • Experience in setting up CI environments and DevOps methodologies
  • Knowledge in development of Web and Desktop Applications
  • Strong oral and written English language skills
