About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch) - H13. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and guidance to our enterprise customers, helping them to achieve the greatest value from our cloud services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers on the use of AWS services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, and more.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business and technical needs, and develop strategies to drive adoption and use of AWS services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and support, to resolve customer issues and provide proactive support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including senior leadership, to ensure their technical and business needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, and provide training and guidance to customers on best practices.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a technical support or account management role, with a focus on cloud services.
  • Experience working with large enterprise customers, including those in the public sector, enterprise, and start-up industries.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for technical domains such as Compute, Storage, Networking, and more.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership and influence technical and business decisions.
  • Ability to travel 10% or more as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading technical internal enterprise teams or external customer-facing experience with C-suite influence.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more decision maker(s).
  • Experience in operational services or support environment.
  • Experience in influencing management stakeholders on technical, operational or business strategic decisions.
  • Experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings.
