We are seeking a skilled Application Engineer to join our team at GULP – experts united. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software systems for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop customer functionalities using Model-Based Design (MBD) and Simulink
  • Analyze existing requirements and functional specifications to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain analysis tools within a Simulink tool chain
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software systems
  • Develop algorithms in the automotive sector using Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, and Embedded Coder
  • Validate and simulate existing Simulink models to ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE rules

Requirements:

  • Strong technical understanding of vehicle functions and air conditioning systems
  • Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder, and TargetLink
  • Knowledge of CAN and LIN bus systems
  • Experience with CANape and CANoe on HIL test benches
  • Programming skills in C and M-script
  • Proficiency in Excel and DOORS
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license
