We are seeking a skilled Application Engineer to join our team at GULP – experts united. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software systems for the automotive industry.

About the Role

  • Design and develop customer functionalities and analysis tools within a Simulink tool chain
  • Analyze existing requirements and functional specifications, and clarify unclear points
  • Develop and service customer system functionalities
  • Develop algorithms in the automotive sector based on Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, and Embedded Coder
  • Validate and simulate existing Simulink models and produce MIL, SIL, and HIL loops, based on the defined MBD process from Valeo and Automotive SPICE rules

Your Profile

  • Good technical understanding of particular vehicle functions and air conditioning functions
  • Knowledge of Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder, and possibly TargetLink
  • Good understanding of CAN and LIN bus systems
  • Practiced in the use of CANape, partly CANoe on the HIL test bench
  • Knowledge of programming (C, M-script)
  • Knowledge of Excel and DOORS
  • Good team player and ability to deal with conflicts in a respectful way
  • Independent way of working and good management of the work
  • Valid driver's license
