Full Stack Developer for Green Energy Solutions

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team at etalytics GmbH, a leading provider of energy intelligence solutions. Located in Darmstadt, Germany, we offer an exciting opportunity to work on software problems that make a real difference in reducing CO2 emissions.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package, including flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home up to two days a week. Our modern office is easily accessible by public transport, highway, and airport.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing backend features using modern frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, Git, Gradle, PostgreSQL, and MQTT. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of our cloud-native microservice architecture using innovative technologies like Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and async pub/sub.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing high-quality backend features using Java/Kotlin/Graal
  • Contributing to the development of our cloud-native microservice architecture using modern technologies
  • Providing technical support and collaborating closely with other developers and specialist departments throughout the software lifecycle
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 1+ year of experience in software development with a Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, physics, mathematics, or engineering
  • Experience in JVM languages (Kotlin/Java) and database development with PostgreSQL (SQL)
  • Foundation in software engineering principles, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing, and data management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to express ideas and technical concepts in a straightforward manner
