CureVac Corporate Services GmbH, a leading biopharmaceutical company in the field of mRNA technology, is seeking an experienced Data Architect to support its growth and innovation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data models, databases, and warehouses that meet the organization's needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver strategic plans to improve data integration, quality, and delivery in support of CureVac initiatives and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data systems, including databases, warehouses, and lakes.
  • Select and implement database management systems that meet the organization's needs.
  • Translate business requirements into data models and metadata.
  • Manage senior stakeholders to ensure project delivery aligns with strategic roadmaps.
  • Simplify existing data architecture, delivering reusable services and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Participate in peer review and quality assurance of projects' architectural artifacts.

Your Qualifications:

  • University degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in data modeling and implementation of enterprise data warehouse initiatives.
  • Proven track record in leading projects involving data warehousing, data modeling, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in modern data architectures, cloud services, and real-time data distribution.
  • Ability to think strategically and relate architectural decisions to business needs.
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new technology.
  • Capability to communicate complex information to senior management.
  • Capacity to collaborate in complex, cross-functional teams.
