Key Responsibilities:

  • As the Director of Commercial Strategy, you will spearhead the commercial transformation initiatives at Heraeus.
  • Your role involves acting as a strategic advisor to the leaders of Heraeus' operating divisions, providing insights to enhance performance across various commercial dimensions, including marketing, sales, pricing strategies, innovative business models, and sustainability efforts.
  • You will initiate and oversee Commercial Excellence projects aimed at driving performance enhancements within our Operating Companies.
  • Leading a team of 12 internal consultants with diverse consulting backgrounds, you will mentor and support team members during short-term assignments focused on Commercial Excellence.
  • In this executive position, you will engage directly with multiple board members, contributing to the strategic development of commercial initiatives at Heraeus.

Candidate Profile:

  • A degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Significant professional and managerial experience, ideally within a strategic consultancy or a leading international B2B organization.
  • Proven expertise in managing multiple projects, engaging with executive stakeholders, and developing client relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both German and English, coupled with a strong ability to analyze and structure complex challenges.
  • A proactive entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for inspiring and leading teams and the organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities paired with excellent business insight.
