About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our team at IU International University. As a key member of our Salesforce engineering team, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Salesforce solutions that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions, utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to best practices and design patterns within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into reliable Salesforce solutions.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
  • Customize Salesforce environments to fit unique business needs, leveraging custom objects, fields, formulas, workflows, and approval processes.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes, including writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure the reliability of solutions.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, code reviews, and collaborative design sessions, sharing knowledge and best practices with team members.
  • Stay informed about the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices, incorporating new technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Several years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and experience with languages such as Java, C#, or similar.
  • Experience with database management and proficiency in SOQL and SQL query languages.
  • Familiarity with integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their application within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills, capable of presenting technical information in a clear and concise manner.
