We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead the global rollout of our new supplier risk management program. This initiative aims to enhance requirements for supplier risk management processes to ensure effective management of cybersecurity risks associated with third-party vendors across our business units.
Key Responsibilities- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources for cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with organizational security strategies.
- Lead and coordinate cybersecurity project teams, managing resources, tasks, issues, and risks to ensure successful project execution.
- Collaborate with business units to support the implementation of cybersecurity projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and organizational policies.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, risks, and issues to senior executives, facilitating communication between stakeholders and project teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, incorporating lessons learned from past projects and staying informed about emerging cybersecurity trends.
- Partner with procurement to implement enhanced supplier risk management processes, transforming this initiative into a sustainable, ongoing program.
- Leverage strong management, communication, and influencing skills to provide transparency, improve incident response, and enable risk management across the supplier base.
- Hold a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM) are preferred.
- Have many years of proven experience in managing projects, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Have very profound experience in cybersecurity, including specific experience with third-party risk management and supplier security.
- Have a very strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Have experience working in a global or multicultural environment, with an understanding of different regulatory and compliance requirements across regions.
