Lead the Data Revolution

SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ is partnering with a global chemical and consumer goods company to find a visionary leader for their Data Science team.

As the Head of Data Science, you will be the driving force behind the company's data-driven decision-making. You will lead a team of talented data scientists, collaborate with business leaders, and develop strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the data science team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Data Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive data science strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and delivers tangible results.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities where data can drive business impact, from marketing to product development.
  • Communication: Present complex data insights and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Project Management: Oversee data projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 8+ years in data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise: Strong skills in machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics, with experience working with Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
  • Vision: Ability to think strategically and turn complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to build, manage, and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear and actionable recommendations.
