Job Opportunity:
The University of Siegen is seeking a highly skilled researcher to join its Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology. As a researcher in the ETI/HQE department, you will be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge projects in the field of terahertz technology.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing machine learning algorithms for application in terahertz imaging, collaborating with research groups involved in machine learning and computer graphics, and developing adaptive methods for coherent 3D image generation. You will also be responsible for creating simulations to understand and model interference artifacts in synthetic 3D THz image data, preparing scientific publications and reports, and supporting research and teaching activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, knowledge in machine learning, advanced programming skills, ultra-high frequency technology, or terahertz technology, and experience in constructing experimental setups. You should also be willing to engage in interdisciplinary cooperation and have excellent communication skills.
