Job Opportunity:
The University of Siegen is seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team in the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology. As a Research Scientist, you will be part of a German-Swedish collaboration project, working on measuring dynamics in 2D and 3D systems with coherent synchrotron radiation (XPCS).
Your Responsibilities:
- Participate in the project, collaborating with universities and research centers in Germany and Sweden.
- Conduct experiments on beamlines at DESY, Hamburg, and other synchrotron radiation sources.
- Commission a TimePix detector for soft X-rays at the beamline P04/PETRA III, DESY.
- Analyze data and contribute to the project's goals.
Your Profile:
- Master's degree in physics or a related field.
- Experience with x-ray diffraction experiments.
- Knowledge of Python programming.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent English language skills.
