Overview

Carnival Maritime GmbH, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation, functions as the marine service unit for AIDA Cruises and Costa Crociere. Through our innovative services, we empower AIDA Cruises and Costa Crociere to adapt to the evolving demands of the cruise sector.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fulfill the following role:

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding all HR-related matters throughout the entire employee lifecycle, catering to both employees and management.
  • Assist management in all HR-related decisions, ensuring effective execution and future planning.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and Controlling to prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly reports and statistics, while developing specific KPIs for internal use.
  • Oversee payroll processes, including pre- and post-payroll activities, and manage all internal and external audits.
  • Lead and support HR projects with both local and global perspectives.
  • Manage the recruitment process for open positions, evaluating candidates based on professional and personal competencies, coordinating interviews, and providing competency-based recommendations to hiring managers. Proficient in direct sourcing.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and actively contribute to staff development initiatives.
  • Enhance employee motivation and employer attractiveness through effective management of soft factors.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Law, or Psychology with a focus on Human Resources.
  • Several years of professional experience as an HR Generalist in an internationally focused organization, with advanced knowledge of payroll management.
  • Strong service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach in a multicultural, matrix-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, balancing operational and strategic projects simultaneously while prioritizing appropriately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.
