About the Role

Carnival Maritime GmbH, a part of Carnival Corporation and plc, is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join its team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to the company's marine service unit, ensuring the highest standards of safety, health, environmental, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries on HR-related matters, providing guidance and support throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Support management in making informed HR-related decisions, executing decisions, and developing future strategies.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Controlling to prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly reports and statistics, developing specific KPIs for internal use.
  • Oversee payroll, including pre- and post-payroll activities, and ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
  • Lead HR projects with a local and global approach, driving business outcomes and employee engagement.
  • Manage the recruitment process, evaluating applicants, coordinating interviews, and providing competency-based recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and contribute to the development of staff, fostering a culture of growth and motivation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Law, or Psychology with a focus on HR.
  • Several years of professional experience as an HR Generalist in an international company, with advanced knowledge of payroll handling.
  • Strong service-oriented mindset, hands-on attitude, and ability to work in a multicultural matrix-oriented company.
  • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and working on operational and strategic projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German.
