Job Summary:

KPIT is seeking a skilled Software Requirements Engineer to join our team. As a Software Requirements Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our software products meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze customer requirements to identify software requirements.
  • Develop and maintain software requirements documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software requirements are aligned with business needs.
  • Conduct requirements reviews and ensure traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain requirements management plans and processes.
  • Identify and mitigate requirements-related risks.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and technical guides.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software requirements engineering.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Fluency in English and German (C1/C2 level).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with requirements management tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 and automotive industry standards.
  • Experience with scripting languages and MATLAB.
