Job Summary:

KPIT is seeking a skilled Software Requirements Engineer to join our team. As a Software Requirements Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and developing software requirements, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and are aligned with our company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze software requirements to ensure they are complete, accurate, and meet customer needs.
  • Develop and specify software requirements, considering all relevant details and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software requirements are aligned with overall project goals.
  • Evaluate and validate software requirements to ensure they meet quality and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate software requirements to stakeholders, including developers, testers, and customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software requirements engineering, with a focus on automotive or e-mobility.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English and German (C1/C2 level).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with requirements management tools, such as DOORS or Jama.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 and other relevant automotive standards.
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or JavaScript.
