Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, including customer service, sales, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers in selecting products, including flowers, plants, and decorative items.
- Assist in the creation of visually appealing store displays and product arrangements.
- Support the Store Manager in managing store operations, including inventory management, stockroom organization, and cash handling.
- Assist in the training and development of sales associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
- Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and store profitability.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in retail management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management or sales, preferably in the flower and plant industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
